Frequently asked questions
Do I need a license?
For scooters under 150cc, your home country license is fine. For 150cc+ a motorcycle endorsement is required by Mexican law.
Is there a deposit?
No deposit on any rental. We just need a credit card on file to reserve, no card? Pay by cash or Venmo. Nothing is held as a security deposit. Your bank may briefly show a temporary $300 authorization while we check the card is active; it's not a charge and it clears on its own.
What if it breaks down?
Call our 24/7 support line and we will swap or repair on the spot. We carry redundant inventory in Tulum precisely for this.
