Cancellation

Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is charged 30 days before arrival and is non-refundable.

Refunds: Payments (both deposit and final) are non-refundable unless special circumstances apply. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. A 10% bank processing fee applies to all refunds. For cancellations due to medical conditions, a doctor's note is required. Please contact hotel management as soon as possible to discuss your situation and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Hurricane Season: If your stay falls during hurricane season and Caye Caulker is hit by a storm that prevents you from reaching Barefoot Beach Belize Hotel, a 50% refund will be offered for the nights you are unable to stay. Please note that rates during hurricane season are already discounted to reflect potential weather risks.

Travel Insurance: Strongly recommended.

Reservations and Cancellations:
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking.

Payment:
Full payments that have not been processed prior to check-in are due upon arrival to Barefoot Beach Belize. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

Identification:
A valid photo ID is required at check-in.

Occupancy:
Maximum occupancy per room is determined by room type. Extra guests must be approved and may incur additional charges.

Pets:
Pets are allowed in designated rooms only. A pet fee applies.

Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.

Damages & Lost Items:
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay. Charges will apply for damages or missing items.

Noise & Conduct:
Please respect other guests by keeping noise to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

Bike Policy
• Rental Cost: Bikes are available to rent for $10 BZD ($5 USD) per day.
• Damage/Loss: Stolen, lost, or damaged bikes incur a $600 BZD ($300 USD) fine.
• Locks/Keys/Chains: Stolen, lost, or damaged locks, keys, or chains incur a $30 BZD ($15 USD) fine.

Liability:
The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Please use the in-room safe or lock-box for valuables.

Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the hotel. Emergency exits are clearly marked on the map located in your room, and a detailed hotel Emergency Action Plan is available upon request.
